I had someone mention this to me on Twitter that used a lower weight as well and also had some decent muscle gain in the arms. This leads me to believe that up to a certain fitness level, this program can be incredibly effective. But perhaps not great for an intermediate lift like myself.
I think you're right that leg development is going to be limited in The Giant. Taking the front squats out of A Simple Strength Program seems like an odd choice to me, but every program has its own use case.
I'd love to see an "advanced" program from Geoff rather than these very simple ones he puts out to see if he could do something a little different. Easy Muscle looks at least a bit more varied and targeted at muscle growth, so perhaps that's something for me to consider at some point when I feel like making the kettlebell my cornerstone again.
